2008 International Workshop on Digital Crime and Forensics
in conjunction with
The Fourth International Conference on Intelligent Information Hiding=20
and Multimedia Signal Processing
Harbin, China, August 15 - 17, 2008
Call For Paper
The development and convergence of multimedia processing techniques and=20
information and communication technology (ICT) have brought about=20
enormous opportunities for the world economy and exciting possibilities=20
for every sector of the modern societies. However, close and strong=20
interweaving facilitated by these techniques also poses concerns and=20
threats. When exploited with malign intentions, the same tools provide=20
means for doing harms at a colossal scale. The objective of this=20
workshop is to provide and foster a forum for advancing research and=20
development of the theory and practice of digital crime prevention and=20
forensics. It addresses a broad range of digital crime and forensics=20
disciplines that use electronic devices and softwares for crime=20
prevention and investigation.
Topics
-------
Recommended topics include, but are not limited to, the following:
* Digital signal processing techniques for crime investigations
* Cryptological techniques and tools for crime investigation

pages in the IEEE 8.5" x 11" two-column format. Submission is done at=20
http://bit.kuas.edu.tw/~iihmsp08/. Papers will be rigorously evaluated=20
by at least three members of the Technical Programme Committee for=20
originality, significance, clarity, and soundness.
