Re: [WM]: Help Help Help....
Muneish,
To learn about the human auditory system (often HAS) you can use Google
to find a vast amount of links. Start with a simple entry like wikipedia
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Auditory_system
and then proceed to search for more details...
Or (if possible) get some standard book from the library, like
Psychoacoustics. Facts and Models by Fastl and Zwicker
Also a number of courses are provided in the internet, for basic
understand those from pychology may be better suited than the computer
science ones.
If you want to use HAS as a base for perceptual masking of your
watermark, you can also have a look at various implementations of e.g.
mp3 which uses a model based on spectral and temporal masking...
Hope this helps as a starting point...
And yes, there is still much to be done in audio watermarking ;-)
But there are algorithms used in some industrial applications right now,
so in some cases the first wave of work is done. There are solutions,
but I expect more advanced approaches to appear in the future. Try to
code one of these...
Regards
Martin
