[WM]: I am a new member

Dear Warwrmarking collegues,

As a new member to this mailing list I want to introduce myself.

I am Dr Harald Brusewitz at IQC Transcoding AB in Sweden.

IQC develops new methods for MPEG-2 video processing.

One of our methods is a new algorithm for watermarking/thumbnailing MPEG-2
video,
and I wish to investigate if it is at all useful.
I will certainly appreciate your comments, and of course try to answer any
of your questions.

The IQC Watermarker has the following features:
1. It is absolutely not visible in the picture.
2. It is impossible to detect presence of the watermark
without access to specific detection software.
3. The detection software operates without access to the original
   unmarked video file.
4. The watermark is represented by an arbitrary length ascii string.
5. Processing complexity is low, 300-500 MHz CPU-speed for insertion at
real-time.
6. Not robust against attacks. Any video processing erases the watermark
completely.

Looking forward to future discussions with all of you who might have idéas
and opinions,

- Harald
