Re: [WM]: security of watermarks
Dear Uschi Krause,
I agree that the security of watermarking algorithms is still a rather
open research topic. For some idea about attacks like finding out if
content is watermarked or trying to guess the embedded message, I
suggest to have a look at steganalysis. As both steganography and
watermarking share a lot of basic techniques and attack/security
analysis is more developed in steganography, this area should be taken
into account.
