[WM]: Vacancy at University College London Adastral Park Campus
SENIOR LECTURERS / LECTURERS
The UCL=92s Computer Science and Electronic & Electrical Engineering =
Departments are in the final phase of the creation of the
Adastral Park postgraduate research centre. As such, we currently have =
vacancies for up to three Senior Lecturer/Lecturer
(equivalent to assistant and associate professor) level positions. =
Candidates must have demonstrated the ability to perform
internationally recognized world-class research.=20
To emphasise our commitment to research, the faculty teaching load is =
one course/academic year.
UCL has strong interests in information security, with five new faculty =
hired in this area in the last three years. We continue to
be particularly interested in strengthening our effort in this area and =
encourage applicants in the areas of computer security,
cryptography, network security, reliability, smart card security, human =
factors for security, digital rights management, and
watermarking to apply. Other current research interests include =
information retrieval, multimedia content and computer vision, web
characterization, and modeling complex networks. However, exceptional =
candidates in all areas of computer science and electronic
engineering are encouraged to apply.
Senior Lecturer/Lecturer positions will attract a salary in the range of
=A332,471 to =A342,367 p.a.
