SWAN 2006

CALL FOR PAPERS
The objective of the SWAN 2006 Workshop is to identify key research directions for security and trust in modern Web-oriented
applications:
P2P, Grid and Web-services architectures.
SCOPE AND PAPERS
Papers should address theoretical and practical issues of security and trust in P2P applications, Grid infrastructures and
Web-services. Topics include, but are not limited to:

   * Access control in distributed documents;
   * Trust of distant, outsourced data and computations;
   * Executions proofs;
   * Multi-party computations;
   * Trust and reputation systems;
   * Watermarking, fingerprinting and steganography of data and computations;
   * Privacy protection;
   * Anonymity;
   * Security verification;
   * Mobile applications.

This workshop will be made of full papers and short papers. Full papers can be up to 12 pages long, short papers 6-8 pages long,
using the ICDIM format. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings of IEEE ICDIM, and indexed on IEEE Xplore. Publication
requires a full registration of at least one of the authors by August 31, 2006.
Submissions should not be under consideration in another conference or workshop.
Important dates:

   * Submit an abstract as soon as possible
   * Paper submission by June 26, 23:59 Bangalore Time (UTC/GMT +5:30 hours);
   * Notification of acceptance by August 1;
   * Camera ready by August 10;
   * Early Bird Registration August 31, 2006.

Authors are invited to register their abstract, upload full and short papers in electronic format (PDF) at
