[WM]: question on "Image Watermarking for Tamper Detection"

Dear all,
I have some questions on Fridrich's paper "Image Watermarking for Tamper Detection".
In this paper, a robust "visual hash" bits is extracted from the host image= .
I don t understand how to embed the "hash" bit are embeded into host image and how to decode the watermarked "hash" bits.
Anyone could give me some help?
