[WM]: New developments in Watermarking?

Hi watermarkers,


          Could anyone guide me with the current approaches used in developing watermarking algorithms in images.

           I have been working with the 'Communication  Systems' approach as suggested by Deepa Kundur in her Thesis and some
papers.
in watermarking in the wavelet domain, where the watermarking channel is modeled as a communications channel.

           Please comment on this approach. Is there any newer development on this or a radically different approach, but  with
reference to  'Communication  Systems' approach.If yes, please guide me to suitable references.
