POSTDOCTORAL POSITION AVAILABLE IN DIGITAL FINGERPRINTING/FORENSICS FOR VIDEO TEMICS team, IRISA, Rennes, France
A postdoctoral position at IRISA is open to hire a qualified individual. The interested research area is (video)
fingerprinting/forensics. The appointment is for one year, from fall 2006 to fall 2007.

More precisely, this postdoctoral position concerns "video fingerprinting", that is, how to embed an imperceptible signal into a
video in order to trace piracy. The embedded signal is specific to each user getting the video; hence, several users can collude,
and compare their copies and try to forge a new untracable document. Hence, the embedded signal should resist this attack and enable
tracing even in this case.
Skills in video processing, error correcting codes (which give useful structure to resist collusion attacks) and information theory
are welcome.
