[WM]: Adaptive huffman source code in C

Hi,
   
  I want to compress bitstream using adaptive huffman technique.
  I tried C.Bloom's source code, but it is dependent upon extra header files which are not available or provided along with.
   
  I want to integrate adaptive huffman technique into an existing code of mine, so it is very desirable in the huffman code to
provide a proper API for compression and decompression.
   
  Any freely available libraries?
