  If you are going to start a project on watermarking, first decide what you want to work on. Implementing the project is second
stage. Firstly you need to figure out what area in wmk you want to work and figure out ur own algorithm. Its not a condition that
you should use MATLAB. You can program it even in Java or other platforms however MATLAB offers several built in functions which
could be easily used. It is quite similar to C programming. And finally it would be my pleasure to guide you thru in ur project. Do
keep in touch.
