Re: [WM]: Barni paper

Hello Michael

I have implemented that bit in my algorithm. You can go thru my paper:
V. Potdar, S. Han, E. Chang, "Self Image Logo Embedding: A Robust Watermarking Algorithm in the Wavelet Domain"

Its available on my website http://www.fit.cbs.curtin.edu.au/~potdarv/
If you need the source code its available in Matlab I hope this is helpful If you have any further queries feel free to ask me

Regards

Hi all,
I have been looking at a paper by Barni et al. "Improved Wavelet-Based Watermarking Through Pixel-Wise Masking". I have a query
about how to determine the threshold. They come up with a formula for the Pf which is given aas a function of erfc (complementary
error function). The authors put a constraint on Pf such that it is less than 10 to the power of -8. They end up with a value of
3.97 in the calculation of the threshold value and I was just wondering if anyone could explain how they go from one equation to the
other.

Regards,
Michael
