Re: [WM]: image degradation
Hello Tushabe
I normally use PSNR to measure the quality of the watermarked image There are many models proposed to measure the allowable
degradation i.e. Human Visual System models One of them is proposed by Knowles and Lewis which I used in my algorithm However there
is Watsons Model as well Some more detailed information is available on my website http://www.ceebi.curtin.edu.au/~potdarv/
If you have any further queries feel free to write Regards

Hi watermarkers,
am back again. Hope you are well.
I have a question regarding image qualities. Which attribute should i
us to measure image degradation. RMSE, PSNR, or MSE?
I wanted to know when the watermarked image has been degraded enough to
cause visual changes in the image and if posible at what
thresholds(specific values).
I hope someone will find time to answer.
