[WM]: 8x8 blocks (again)

Hi!
Thnaks for all who've helped me in the first time...about the blocks again...is it possible to choose certain coefficients from all
of the 8x8 blocks that we've created., using matlab? like choosing those with the lowest frequencies...does it means that within a
256x256 pix , we have to manipulate 32x32 segments of 8x8pix blocks?
