[WM]: DRMTICS 2005 Call for Participation (updated)

                   First International Conference on
Digital Rights Management: Technologies, Issues, Challenges and Systems
                          Sydney, Australia
                      31 October - 2 November 2005
                 http://www.titr.uow.edu.au/DRMTICS2005

The ease of copy and re-distribution of digital content through a variety of networked and storage medium has posed major threats to
ownership rights of copyright holders and owners of digital content.
Digital Rights Management (DRM) systems provide controlled access to digital content and provide protection for copyrighted
materials. DRM is a multi-faceted area of research and development, with technological, social, legal, and business aspects to name
a few.

This new conference series (abbreviated: DRMTICS, pronounced:
"dramatics") will consider all aspects of DRM systems including issues faced by holders of digital rights who want to protect their
intellectual property rights and consumers who seek to protect their privacy and to preserve their traditional pattern of access to
media under existing copyright law.

DRMTICS 2005 is held in co-operation with IACR (http://www.iacr.org) and the IEEE Computer Society Task Force on Information
Assurance (http://www.ieeeia.org). The conference proceedings will be published in Springer-Verlag's Lecture Notes in Computer
Science Series (http://www.springeronline.com/lncs).

The conference will be held in the North Sydney Harbourview Hotel, located just ten minutes from the centre of Sydney and offering
views over Sydney Harbour and its famous bridge.
