[WM]: Help Needed in Reed Solomon Encoding & DSSS

Hi, i'm a student of computer science doing my final project is to implemet= the solution proposed by D.A. Karras of Chalkis
Institute of Technology, Automation Dept. and Hellenic Open University, Rodu 2, Ano Iliupolis, Athens.
 * "A Second Order Spread Spectrum Modulation Scheme for Wavelet Based Low= Error Probability Digital Image Watermarking" * in
this solution i need to encode the information bits using Reed Solomon= Encoding (Error Correcting Technique). But i'm having
difficulty in understanding the Reed Solomon Codes. I'm generating the information bits in the from of [-1,1] only. the
sequenc= e is random consisting of these two numbers only.
My second problem is related to the Direct Sequence Spread Spectrum (DSSS)= . I need to know the Pesudo Noise (PN) code needs to
be generated separately= so that the information bits are spread OR the PN code is the data of the= image?. I'm
implementing the above solution in Java. and there is very little help= available online regarding these two techniques in Java.
Any one who has some idea of these two, or can suggest me somthing please= do so.
ANy kind of help will be appretiated
 Thank you

Imran Khan
