[WM]: CMS 2005 now open for registration

We are pleased to announce that CMS 2005, the 9th working conference in Communications and Multimedia Security, is now open for
registration. It is a joint working conference of IFIP TC6 and TC11. Previous conferences in this series have been held at Salford,
UK (CMS 2004), Torino, Italy (CMS 2003), Portoroz, Slovenia (CMS 2002), and Darmstadt, Germany (CMS 2001).
CMS 2005 presents original research results relating to security in digital communications and multimedia and provides a forum for
discussion and exchange among researchers, academic leaders and practitioners from the associated fields.
The introduction will be given by three distinguished keynotes:
Keynote 1: Christian Cachin - 'From Cryptography to Steganography'
Keynote 2: Ton Kalker - 'About the Architecture of DRM Systems'
Keynote 3: Ingemar J. Cox - 'Using perceptual models to improve fidelity and provide invariance to valumetric scaling for
quantization index modulation watermarking'
The selection process for this conference has been highly selective. Out of 145 submissions, 28 contribution have been accepted as
full papers.
Additionally, 18 papers have been accepted as work-in-progress papers for poster presentation. A special session will be held on XML
Security.

Directly after CMS 2005, the ECRYPT Summer School on Multimedia Security will be held in Salzburg. Special rates are offered to
participants who register for both events.
