ECRYPT Summer School on Multimedia Security focuses on security techniques for digital communication and multimedia content, such as
digital watermarking, media encryption, perceptual hashing, biometrics and fingerprinting. The program is targeted at graduate and
post-graduate level participants from the areas of computer science, engineering and cryptology, as well as researchers and
professionals interested in these fields. The courses comprise introductory as well as advanced and specialized sessions, featuring
an array of first class speakers, all of whom have high international esteem in their respective fields. The course program is
structured in single track so that participants will be able to attend all courses.

As the number of participants is limited, a short application is required by July 1, 2005, comprising a short CV and a letter of
purpose. A limited number of scholarships (covering travel expenses, registration and
accommodation) are offered to:
          * Female participants
          * Participants from the new EU member states (Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland,
Slovakia, and
Slovenia) and from Bulgaria, Croatia, and Romania.

The summer school is held directly after the IFIP Conference on Communications and Multimedia Security (CMS 2005). Special rates are
offered to participants who register for both events.
