[WM]: Has log-polar mapping been applied to audio.

Hi,
    Log-polar mapping has been proposed as a solution for geometric attacks in case of image watermarking.But it had induced
unpractical amount of distortion.My doubt has it been applied to audio?

    Morever image watermarking has taken precedence over audio watermarking.What's he reason for this?Lack of applications for audio
watermarking?
