[WM]: nonlinearity in visual perception
Hello,
I'm interested in the field of human color perception. The correlation between the brightness of a color and how one perceives
slight color differences is non-linear. The brighter a color the earlier differences can be detected.
There is an article that seems to address this aspect, but I can not find it on the web:
G. Buchsbaum: "An analytical derivation of visual nonlinearity". IEEE Trans. on biomedical engineering, Vol. 27, pp. 237-242, 1980.
Could someone please send me this article or suggest (send) other articles related to this topic?
Thanks in advance,
Henry Sonnet
