[WM]: Query about steganography

Hello all,
  
   I've got a trouble,plz do me a favour!

   For an image of GIF format,  how could I add secret message in the redundant parts of image data, but causing no difference
between the cover image and the image after data hiding? Could I embed message in some null byte of the GIF data stream?
