CALL FOR ABSTRACTS


The Eighth Annual Conference on Mathematics of Data/Image Coding, Compression,  and Encryption, with Applications will be held at
the SPIE Annual Meeting,  from 31 July to 4 August 2005, in San Diego, California.

Topics to be emphasized this year include but are not limited to application  of compression to video, still imagery; object
recognition in compressed  images and sequences of images; digital watermarking; estimation of, and  compensation for, error in
image compression transforms; security of Internet  cryptosystems; new image and data compression transforms and applications
including medical, remote sensing, environmental, and military areas of research and development.
