[WM]: watermarking

Hi, watermarkers.
I am interested in watermarking technique especially implemented by Peter=  Meerwald. However, i could not build his codes on my
PC, XP loaded by = using visual C.  For example, it gives the following errors:

"unresolved external symbols for random, srandom, optind, optarg and geto= pt". 

How can I find these functions? Could you help me?
