[WM]: Ooura's mathematical software packages for a fast DCT
Hi,
I am studying the Ooura's mathematical software packages because I need an efficient implementation for the DCT if an image is
reasonable large.
I have saw that these packages calculate Discrete Cosine Transforms of 2,3-dimensional sequences of length 2^N.
Has anybody used it? Is it really a fast 2D-DCT? And the inverse 2D-IDCT?
Can explain me how convert a NxN image (or NxM) to an image of n1xn2, where n1=power of 2 and n2=power of 2, without alter too much
the image?
Some comments will be gratefully.
Thanks for advanced.
