[WM]: SS against D-A-D

Recently, i have implemented the watermarking scheme developed by Ricardo A.
Garcia "Digital Watermarking of Audio Signals Using a Psychoacoustic Auditory Model And Spread Spectrum Theory" My watermark
length is 98304 points, at the moment a have not implemented a syncrhonization method, but, instead i am using a pulse when i want
to know if the scheme is robust against MPEG compression. I am also using a sin wave
(F=500,Fs=44100,n=(0:6655)) at the beguining of the sound signal to synchronize the signal using correlation to know if the scheme
is robust against D-A-D
conversion. The result is always the same: The watermark does not resist
the media attack.

Is it because the watermark is too long?? or SS watermarking is fragil against D-A-D?? or is there any problem with the sync
method??
