[WM]: whitening in pn-based watermarking
Hi all,
Generally speaking, in audio watermarking, the watermarked signal =
which will be extracted should be whitened firstly because of
the pn shaping with Psycho-Acoustic Masking Model in the embedding =
process. In common, the LPC is used to implement the whitening
process. What I wonder to know is that is there any more effective =
whitening method could be used.
In my opinion, the whitening process can be considered more =
sophisticated which can improve the detection performance significantly.
