[WM]: optimal quantization effects on watermark

Hi, there
    Quantization watermark has been investigated by Eggers and Girod. However their analysis is based on uniform scalar
quantization. I wonder if someone has worked on optimal quantization effects on watermark, for example quantization points and
step size determined by Lloyd-Max Quantization algorithm. I believe, in new image compression standards, quantization will not be
uniform.
