[WM]: General Question about Audio Watermarking

Dear Watermarkers,

I'm currently working on my Dissertation on Audio Watermarking and I was 
wondering
if there are any proposals of a scheme to protect audio files (ensure 
copyright etc)
that does not use only Audio watermarking. Maybe something that uses 
Audio Watermarking as
a part of the whole process. As I've seen the various algorithms 
available still have many weaknesses
that don't allow them to be the total solution to the problem. But maybe 
if watermarking is combined with something else (????) something good can come out?  Any comments?????
