[WM]: Quantization watermarks

hi,
    In the paper 'Digital watermarking for telltale
tamper-proofing and authentication', the authors
(Deepa Kundur and Hatzinakos) have suggested that the
distortions of wavelet coefficients can be modelled as
Gaussians and this idea has been used in a few other
papers on quantization watermarking. 
	Can someone tell me the values of the variances for
some common incidental and malicious attacks.
